Schenectady School District Recognizes Student Groups - Except Christian

The New York Schenectady City School District provides access to classrooms, PA announcements and posting to campus groups, such as homosexual groups and environmental groups, but denies the same access to the Christian Group. The Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) was contacted by the Christian group. Jeff Shafer of ADF noted that "the United States Supreme Court has unequivocally affirmed the right of religious clubs to meet on public school campuses to the same extent as other kinds of clubs."
