Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney vetoed a bill that would require all hospitals, including Catholic hospitals, to provide contraceptive medication, devices and information, including the morning-after pill. The Massachusetts Legislature was able to override the governor's veto, bringing the bill into law.
The morning-after pill is recogized as a form of abortion.
