Judge to Decide on San Diego Discriminatory Treatment of Christian After-School Program

Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) began their after-school program in San Diego schools back in 1999. According to the school district procedures, "community organizations whose primary purpose is service to district youth or the general welfare of the community" have access to district facilities without charge. San Diego chose to single-out CEF by charging ever-increasing rental-fees until CEF could not longer afford to conduct their after-school program.

Liberty Counsel has been representing CEF in gaining equal access to school facilities. The decision is not before a federal judge, awaiting the decision.
