United Nations Excludes Conservative and Religious Groups in Crafting UN "Millennium Development Goals"

The United Nations is crafting the Millennium Development Goals, which declare the goals of the United Nations. The UN opened the sessions to nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) for dialog between NGO representatives and UN. While many NGOs participated in the dialog with UN representatives, notably absent were all the conservative groups who applied for participation in the sessions. Conservative groups were forced to be spectators as liberal NGOs gave presentations and actively participated in the dialog.

This occurred on the heals of a recently released book, Against Christianity: The UN and the EU as a New Ideology, which chronicles the anti-religious tendencies of the United Nations. Among other items, is the UN's effort to author a universal moral code. Taking a humanists position on morality, the UN has viewed religious groups as a threat to authoring morality.
