University of Toledo requires Christian student group deny Christian Beliefs

A national group of law students and lawyers, known as the Christian Legal Society (CLS), has been put on notice that their University of Toledo (UT) student group registration will be removed if they do not comply with UT "non-discrimination" requirements.

The mission of CLS is "to serve Jesus Christ through the practice of law." In remaining faithful to this mission, student groups only includes members who subscribe to specific beliefs of the Christian faith, including sexual orientation.

CLS has successfully sued other universities in order to maintain their right to adhere to Christian beliefs. A law suit has been filed against the University of Toledo.
