Planned Parent Federation of America (PPFA) has been getting religion.
On the one hand, PPFA is a signer of the Humanist Manifesto II, which declares beliefs such as: Faith in the prayer-hearing God is an unproved and outmoded faith; belief in the supernatural is meaningless or irrelevant to the human race; committment to humankind transcends allegiances of church.
On the other hand, in 2004 PPFA appointed Reverend Ignacio Castuera of Los Angeles CA as the PPFA chaplain. I wonder if Dr. Castuera is a signer of the Humanist Manifesto II?
