School Board Candidate Ridiculed for Christian Beliefs

Leslie Pinney is running for a position on the Arlington Heights IL school board. She's made it clear that she is a Christian - and has received ridicule for it. She's been told to keep her faith out of politics. She's been called a "book burner". She was called "intolerant" by a local pastor.

Fortunately Pinney subscribes to the called of Jesus to his disciples:

"A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. " (Matt 5:14-16)
