Pennsylvania Police assist Attacker of
Pro-Life Counselors

When the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Hillcrest Abortion Center erected a wall to block their clients from hearing messages from pro-life counselors, 69 year old Ed Snell used a platform on the back of his pick-up to reach the abortion patient. As Snell began speaking to one patient, her escort "leaped on the vehicle with Ed and catapulted him off of the vehicle and onto the ground." As a result of Snell hitting the pavement head first, he suffered life-threatening bleeding to his brain, compression fractures in four vertebrae, scapula fractures, and fractures of the fourth and fifth ribs. An ambulance was called to rush him to the hospital to save his life.

When three police officers, John McTernan, a witness to the crime, pointed out the man who inflicted the injuries, the police allowed the perpetrator to leave the scene. When McTernan objected, the police threatened to arrest him.

Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, commented on the case, "That was not only unprofessional conduct, but it showed a fundamental lack of respect for Mr. Snell's life and beliefs."

This is the same facility where they gave a woman drugs she had told them she was allergic too, then pretty much stood around with their thumbs up their arses and watched her turn blue.

If they care that little about their patient, you can imagine how much compassion they have to muster for an elderly man who devotes his life to helping those women.
