University of California rejects coursework of students applying for admission, when the coursework includes a religious worldview. According to the university, coursework must meet the core academic content, but this content only supports a secular worldview. A lawsuit was raised by The Association of Christian Schools International and others to accept academic material, which includes a religious viewpoint, in the coursework requirements. The lawsuit has been tied-up in the courts since 2004.
