One year ago the University of California (UC) authorized, with little fanfare, a policy that would refuse certification of high school science courses that challenge Darwin's theory of evolution. The UC policy would also deny certification to courses that referenced Christianity, such as "Christianity's Influence in American History." These courses are offered in over 800 Christians schools across California. The Association of Christian Schools International has filed a federal civil rights discrimination lawsuit.
