The Defense Supply Center in Columbus, Ohio allows employees to post various flyers on the employee bulletin board. Gary Lister requested to have a flyer posted, showing that the federal charitable contribution money is going to anti-Christian causes; such as sexual promiscuity, abortion, homosexuality and mysticism. Officials repeatedly denied his request, informing him that the content of his flyer was not acceptable.
Lister retained the Alliance Defense Fund in filing a lawsuit against these violations of his constitutional rights. A federal judge agrees.
