FFRF Displays their Friendly Christmas Sign - "Religion is but myth and ... enslaves minds"

The Wisconsin state capital is decorated with various Christmas items, including the annual "Christmas" tree. The rotunda includes a replica of the Liberty Bell, which includes an inscription from Leviticus 25:10 "Proclaim liberty throught all the land, unto the inhabitants thereof." The Wisconsin Constitution is also on display, declaring that we are to be "grateful to Almighty God for our freedom."

The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) has also provided a Christmas decoration. a sign that states:

"At this season of the Winter Solstice may reason prevail. There are no gods, no devils, no angels, no heaven or hell. There is only our natural world. Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds.”

State Representative Scott Suder commented "Apparently Scrooge left his sign in the capitol and I wish Governor Doyle would remove it. I think it is unnecessary for the Freedom From Religion Foundation to attack Christmas."
