San Diego Homosexuals Issue Death Threats Against Ex-Gay

James Hartline was heavily involved in the homosexual lifestyle in San Diego for over 30 years, from which he contracted AIDS. After accepting Jesus Christ as his personal savior, he was saved from homosexuality. Today Hartline says "I am making a stand for the Lord in the midst of one of the largest homosexual communities in the United States."

The citizens and officials have not taken his stand lightly. Hartline has been the recipient of several death threats.
  • The Hillquest web site published an email stating "The moment was never riper for the San Diego (LGBT) community to push for the elimination of [James Hartline]."
  • A retired San Diego judge has issued death threats.
  • A San Diego City Library employee emailed her desire for his quick death from AIDS.
