Groups Challenging the ACLU

According to Alan E. Sears, president and CEO of the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF), "The ACLU has through the years filed a series of lawsuits that diminish the rights of Americans to understand their history, to exhibit in public, to exercise their faith in many ways." ADF and other organizations have gone toe-to-toe with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) to defend religious liberties. The Stop the ACLU Coalition has been formed for this very purpose. "Churches are at risk [from] the ACLU's agenda," says director Nedd Kareiva.
