Dr. Timothy Shortell of Brooklyn College has openly expressed his anti-Christian position and published them in an on-line postion, at times calling Christians "ugly," "a violent lot" and "moral retards." Without regard for Shortell's discriminatory remarks, Brooklyn College has promoted him to head the Brooklyn College's Sociology Department.
Daniel Tauber, the student government president-elect, has expressed his fears that Shortell and similar professors will breed religious intolerance throught the school.
