Jesse Morrell found God at a drug rehabilitation center. He now returns to bars, but this time to spread the word of God. He'll usually read Bible verses, pray or sing hymns. According to Morrell, "The Bible is the true map to heaven and I want people to know that simple truth." The city police, in their attempts to stop his constitutionally protected activities, have repeatedly harassed Morrell.
A federal lawsuit has been filed by the Alliance Defense Fund, on behalf of Morrell.

V E R S E O F T H E D A Y
“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 1:5-8)
