Federal Restraining Order Placed on "Radical Pro-Homosexual" Curriculum Hostile to Christians

Judge Alexander Williams, Jr. of the United States District Court issued a temporary restraining order against the Montgomery County Maryland Public Schools Board of Education, prohibiting it from implementing the controversial health education curriculum. Parent groups have filed lawsuits against the curriculum. Some content of the questionable material includes:
  • Jesus said absolutely nothing at all about homosexuality
  • Instead of referring to a husband and wife, refer to "two or more people"
  • Sex play with friends of the same gender is not uncommon
  • Religion has often been misused to justify hatred and oppression
  • "Abstinence until marriage" is detrimental to "GLBT youth."
  • Question the definition of "promiscuous"
  • "Fundamentalists" and "evangelicals" mistakenly believe people overcome same-sex attraction
