Every Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine and Coastguardsman takes an oath "to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.... So help me God." According to Adam Schwartz of the ACLU, "the government should not be administering religious oaths or discriminating based on religious beliefs." Since the ACLU has already overpowered the Department of Defense to have the Boy Scouts removed from military facilities, it will be no surprise when the ACLU strong-arms the military to remove "So help me God" from their oath.
