Terri Shiavo, the woman who lied in a hospice bed incapacitated since 1990, left her Earthly life and went into the presence of her Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ.
Terri was the center of attention throughout the country and the world. Terri's life and death were filled with conflict and tension over whether to provide her life-support or to remove her life-sustaining feeding tubes. With her passing, her brother provided us with some final counsel - "Throughout this ordeal we are reminded of the words of Jesus' message on the cross: 'Forgive them for they know not what they do'"
During her life, Terri remained faithful to her God. And now she is in His presence.
"God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life." (1 John 5:11-12)
"My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand." (John 10:27-28)
