Judge Discards Jury Decision -Because Jury Read The Bible

Jurors for a rape and murder case determined that the death penalty was an appropriate verdict. Justices of the Colorado Supreme Court discarded the jury decision. Why? Because the jury read the Bible during deliberation to determine God's position on capital punishment.

Gov. Bill Owens called the ruling "demeaning to people of faith."
