Larry Caldwell of Roseville California made all attempts to follow the procedures to propose objective policies in teaching evolution in the school system. Caldwell was greeted by school officials with unlawful violations of procedures, personal attached of his religious beliefs and threats of a lawsuit. Caldwell filed a lawsuit to protect a parents right to be involved in their children's education. The Pacific Justice Institute joined the case.
