Bible gets removed from display -
even when constitutionally protected

The Americans United for the Separation of Church and State continue their scorched earth policy of eliminating all things Christian from the public square. In this recent case in Harris Texas, the Star of Hope Homeless Mission owns and maintains a private historical display, which includes a Bible. This display does not violate the constitution, yet the Americans United sued and had the Bible removed.

According to Jonathan Saenz, an attorney from Liberty Legal Institute defending the Bible display, "the court has singled out this one monument and asked that part of the monument be stripped away because it has religious content."
