When 72 year-old grandmother, Donna Holman, was providing sidewalk counseling outside the Iowa City Planned Parenthood, the police and Judge Egerton insisted that she was harassing an unidentified victim. When the Judge heard the case, he elected to take the testimony of a Planned Parenthood employee and ignore a videotape of the altercation, which refuted all charges.
Grandma Holman was give a 30 day sentence (suspended), one year probation and ordered to have a psychiatric evaluation and take any psychotic medications prescribed.
