Michael Newdow, known for his hostility towards our national heritage which makes public references to God or religion, has filed yet another lawsuit. This time it's against the U.S. National Motto, "In God we Trust," as it appears on all U.S. currency.
The U.S. Department of Justice is defending the motto, indicating it has historical and patriotic significance. Also, as Brad Dacus, of the Pacific Justice Institute, puts it, to remove the motto would be an act of hostility toward religion. PJI is actively working with the U.S. Department of Justice to defend this national heritage.
If he were to win this cause, this would also declare the U.S. Constitution unconstitutional.
