When parents Jim and Korina Self asked their seventh-grader son what he learned in school that day, they never realized that their son was being taught about the Prophet Mohammad and Islam. They discovered the textbook chosen by Houston Elementary School in Lodi California included just a mere mention of Jesus, other religions were given a brief paragraph but several chapters were dedicated to Islam. They started a campaign to have the Islamic textbook removed from the curriculim.
