Atheist Group Equates Godliness with the Dangers of Smoking - Quit

An Atheist group has organized an annual event called the "Great American God-Out." The event models itself after the "Great American Smoke-Out," but to eliminate all things Godly from public life. An Iowa community college is one of the locations to be hosting their own "God-Out" event. The president of the Iowa Christian Alliance, Steve Scheffler, responded to the event by noting that Christians regularly experience discrimination, such as this event, "There’s certainly been an effort by the left, including the ACLU and other like-minded groups, to strip any reference of God from the public square."
