Uttering "Jesus" Banned in North Carolina Counties

You would think that uttering certain words, such as profanity, threats or hate speech would require legal action, but in the North Carolina Fayetteville and Cumberland Counties, attorneys have issued official memos indicating the uttering of the word "Jesus" violates the U.S. Constitution and must be banned.

Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel, pointed out the memo is unconstitutional. "To literally say that you can't bring up Jesus' name as part of any business function or other meeting within a government sector undercuts and simply ignores our founding history and is offensive and contrary to the First Amendment."
