Pre-game Bowing of Head Leads to Lawsuits

East Brunswick, New Jersey couch Marcus Borden would participate with his team members in a ritual of bowing their heads before the start of their football games. According to Borden, this activity was lead by the players and constitutionally protected. But if there is prayer, Barry Lynn of Americans United for Separation, is likely to show-up with a lawsuit. In the summer of 2007, a federal judge sided with Borden. Americans United For Separation has taken the case to the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Court case could decide fate of pregame ritual
