Our founding fathers would not survive today's anti-church crowd

The public expression of religious faith by our founding fathers would not survive the extreme anti-Christian forces that dominate society today. This was the message at a symposium honoring President Ronald Reagan. "One can easily imagine the scorn the mainstream media would heap on the original George W," noted Daniel Dreisbach, a professor at Regent University, where the symposium was hosted.

Perhaps the founders were escaping one form of religious tyranny and we now are facing another - secular humanism and atheism.

Let us all pray - "I now make it my earnest prayer that God would have you, and the State over which you preside, in his holy protection" - George Washington.
