A University of Wisconsin committee has reviewed the ban on Bible Studies for Resident Assistants (RAs) and has officially endorsed the religious discrimination. RAs with university approval have organized controversial plays and seminars, such as a production of The Vagina Monologues. But the UW committee has issued a report endorcing the ban on private Bible Studies conducted by RAs.
Robert Shibley, from Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), has been representing the RAs, confronting UW in their denial of religious-freedom rights to its students.
