Israel's top archaeological body has recommended that the Megiddo Prison be relocated, upon discovering an early third century Christian church below the prison. The discovered church, built before Roman recognition of the Christian religion, was most likely a prayer hall.
Included in the artifacts was a table (or altar) dedicated to "God Jesus Christos. "
