Taiwan Uses Nun to Promote Condom Use - Drops Ad After Outrage
Taipei Taiwan's Sexually-Transmitted Disease Control Center ran an AIDS prevention media campaign, promoting condom use. Posters located in the mass transit stations featured a Nun holding a condom saying "I know what a condom is for." Church members were outraged at the imagery, forcing the agency to destroy all posters.
