Shark-Attack Teen Leading Lives to Jesus

Bethany Hamilton was the Number 1 amateur female surfer in Hawaii when she was attacked by a 14-foot tiger shark on November 31st 2003. She lost her left arm in the attack and nearly lost her life. The attack could have ended her future in surfing but instead it strengthened her relationship with Jesus Christ.

Bethany prayed that God would use her loss and make something good of it. Since her recovery, she's been able to share her faith on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "Entertainment Tonight," "The Tonight Show," "20/20," MTV's "Total Request Live," and in "People," "Time" and "Glamour" magazines. Many hundreds have come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through Bethany's obedience to God's calling.
