God in Public Life is Important - Pope Benedict XVI

Pope Benedict XVI stated in his homily at the Castel Gandolfo parish church "It is important that God is present in public life, with the sign of the cross, in homes and public buildings." The Pope has supported the display of religious symbol in public and government buildings, which has become a divisive issue in Italy and elsewhere.
