Sacramento Blocks 380 Church Attendees - Drops Restrictions After Lawsuit

The City of Sacramento restricted the Russian Independent Baptist Church to 120 attendees, even though the Fire Department rated the occupancy at over 500. Families were prohibited from attending church services. The Pacific Justice Institute filed a suit in federal court and the 120 person limitation was lifted. Brad Dacus, President of the Pacific Justice Institute states "This work is crucial in helping churches exercise their First Amendment rights."
