Many would consider the Christian Crusades a dark era in Christian history. But was it?
Robert Spenser, in his upcoming book, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam and the Crusades, chronicles the rise of Muhammad and his Muslim armies, which conquered many Christian cities and countries. Spenser writes that the Crusades were a "delayed" response to the jihad - an attempt to defend and recover what were Christian people and holy places of Christianity.
