The California Supreme Court overturned the decision of the people. In the November 2008 elections, the California population voted again in favor of Proposition 8. Since then, many homosexual groups have been protesting the will of the people.

It is evident that the protests have nothing to do with "marriage" but the furthering of the Homosexual Agenda, outlined in the 1987 "Gay Revolutionary" paper by Michael Swift. Included in this manifesto on "how the oppressed dream of being the oppressor" includes "All churches who condemn us will be closed."

As has occurred in other nations, these laws pave the way for Christians to be silenced and even arrested because they believe that homosexual acts are sinful. It is totalitarian regimes which punish thoughts, not free societies. Thomas Jefferson declares that "the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions."

3.) Violence on San Francisco Church--In September, Christians in San Francisco spoke out against a blasphemous anti-Christian advertisement for the perverted, sadomasochistic Folsom Street Fair. In the ad, Christ and the 12 Disciples are portrayed as sexual deviants at the Last Supper, provocatively posed before a table of sex toys. For criticizing them, radical homosexuals crashed a worship service dressed as nuns and desecrated it and mockingly took Holy Communion. The church refuses to press charges. Within days Matthew Hinz was arrested after trying to set fire to a San Francisco convent while six nuns were sleeping inside. A few days later, Paul Addis is charged for allegedly planning to set fire to the city's historic Grace Cathedral.

Attack on Jerry Falwell--CNN reached a new low when Anderson Cooper invited Christopher Hitchens, editor of Vanity Fair Magazine, on his show the day of Jerry Falwell's death to make critical remarks about Falwell. Hitchens made the most reprehensible and offensive remarks one can imagine against a Christian minister, Jerry Falwell, even on the day of his death. Christopher Hitchens called Falwell "a little toad . a horrible little person.an evil old man.a conscious charlatan and bully and fraud.an actual danger to democracy, to culture, to civilization."

5.) "God's Warriors" and "Friends of God"--Two biased, anti-Christian documentaries were produced and aired. One by Nancy Pelosi's daughter, Alexandra, "Friends of God" on HBO and the other by CNN's Christiane Amanpour, "God's Warriors." At least they tried to act as if they wanted to be fair. Of course, they failed. Evangelicals are almost 100 million strong and very diverse but are reduced to clichéd caricatures or are portrayed as the moral equivalents of Islamic terrorists.

6.) John Edwards's Campaign Bloggers who called Christian supporters of President Bush his "wing nut Christofascist base." One asked, 'What if Mary had taken Plan B after the Lord filled her with his hot, white, sticky Holy Spirit,' to which she replied, 'You'd have to justify your misogyny with another ancient mythology.' The Edgefield and Aiken County school districts of South Carolina have allowed the "Laces 4 Love" program, run be a Baptist church, to come into their facilities each Christmas season to provide shoes to needy children. The schools identify the children and the program issues letters to the parents, seeking approval for the children to participate. The children are issued new shoes through a procedure that includes a foot washing and a message from the church.

The Americans United for Separation (AUS) objected to this program and threatened to sue the school districts to stop the distribution of shoes to needy kids. The objection raised by AUS - foot-washing is a religious rite. With AU so opposed to this "religion rituals," perhaps they never wash their own feet.

When the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Hillcrest Abortion Center erected a wall to block their clients from hearing messages from pro-life counselors, 69 year old Ed Snell used a platform on the back of his pick-up to reach the abortion patient. As Snell began speaking to one patient, her escort "leaped on the vehicle with Ed and catapulted him off of the vehicle and onto the ground." As a result of Snell hitting the pavement head first, he suffered life-threatening bleeding to his brain, compression fractures in four vertebrae, scapula fractures, and fractures of the fourth and fifth ribs. An ambulance was called to rush him to the hospital to save his life.

When three police officers, John McTernan, a witness to the crime, pointed out the man who inflicted the injuries, the police allowed the perpetrator to leave the scene. When McTernan objected, the police threatened to arrest him.

Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, commented on the case, "That was not only unprofessional conduct, but it showed a fundamental lack of respect for Mr. Snell's life and beliefs."

Penelope Trunk published an article on Arianna Huffington's Huffingtonpost.com web site titled "Christmas Does Not Belong in the Workplace." The article stresses that, to promote inclusion of diversity, recognition of faith should be excluded. She presents the argument that Christmas should be considered a religious holiday and only those of the Christian faith should celebrate Christmas. But she claims she's forced to not work on December 25th, but no one is stopped her from working on that day (I believe Scrooge planned on working December 25th).

But what if her words were changed slightly, so that instead of Christmas, the article referred to homosexuality. How would some of it read?

Homosexuality does not belong in the workplace because it undermines diversity at work. And businesses that promote diversity have more profits in the long run than companies that do not have a diverse workforce.

A big problem with homosexuality is for those of us who have no reason to celebrate it.

But encouraging diversity doesn't mean diverse ways to celebrate homosexuality. Diversity is giving people space to ignore homosexuality. Yet still, homosexuality continues to permeate workplaces across the United States.

So do what you can at work, where you can argue that tolerance and diversity improve the bottom line, and you will affect change in society, where tolerance and diversity give deeper meaning to our lives.

A group called Praying Parents meets once a month in the Lebanon, Tennessee Lakeview Elementary School. The group leaves a card on the desks of those they prayed for. The schools' web site includes a reference to the group. The school web site also lists the annual National Day of Prayer.

So, it's no surprise that anonymous parents and their anonymous student teamed up with the ACLU to file a federal lawsuit.

Many individuals and organizations have come to defend the school. One mother, Lisa Noble, commented "Education got worse when they took the prayer out of school. I'm very much in support of it."

According to the Christian legal group, Roman Catholic Foundation, university officials have violated a settlement agreement which they agreed to seven months ago. The university provides funds for student group activities but for years has denied the largest student group equal funding because they are faith-based. In May 2007 the university settled and agree to practice equal treatment to religious student groups. But it seems university officials haven't learned a thing and are at it again.

Elizabeth Bergland worked at the John Deere company for over 27 years. According to Bergland, it was when she began revealing her faith in the workplace that her management and Human Resource department began evaluating her job performance as unacceptable. It was not that her work was unacceptable, but that the company would not tolerate expressions of faith on the job. Her employment was eventually terminated.

The city of Philadelphia adopted a nondiscrimination policy which legalized discrimination against religious organizations. Because the Boy Scouts would not compromise their Biblical position on homosexuality, the city would no longer allow the Boy Scouts to lease a building built by the scouts but standing on city property. Gregg Shields, national spokesman for the Boy Scouts explains their position, "open homosexuality would be inconsistent with the values that we want to communicate with our leaders. A belief in God is mentioned in the Scout oath. Our mission is to instill those values in scouts and help them make good choices over their lifetimes."

The city was renting the build to the Boy Scouts for $1 per year, but, with the Scouts maintaining their position to honor God, the city raised the rent to $200,000, something the boys would never be able to raise. And there was no room for negotiation, as city Councilman Darrell L. Clarke put it "Negotiations are over."

Once again, nondiscrimination laws legalize discrimination against religious organizations.

In front of the building is a plaque which reads, "The past is our heritage. The present our opportunity. The future our hope." For the present and known future, Philadelphia stands with homosexuality and not honoring organizations such as the Boy Scouts.
