Americans United for Separation Demand Frosty and Rudolph Visit Baby Jesus

Walton County has erected an annual Christmas nativity scene for as long as people can remember. This year, Alex Luchenitser of the Americans United for Separation has filed a complaint on behalf of unknown (if any) residents about the exclusively Christian scene to commorate Christmas. Americans United for Separation argued that the scene must included other, secular symbol, such as Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer visiting the birth of Jesus, along with the Three Wise Men. This is perfectly accepable. Santa Claus is questionable since Santa is known as Saint Nick and Americans United for Separation would not stand for any saintly figures.

So, the display on the Walton County Courthouse lawn wiil include these other characters in the nativity scene.

Scholastic / TimeWarner Rolling-Out "Golden Compass" Religion of Atheism Curriculum into Public Schools

Scholastic, Inc. and TimeWarner Inc. are launching public school curriculum material tied to the release of "Golden Compass" film. The material will teach children the religion of Atheism - "God is Dead," targeting student grades 8-12. There is also a Student Sweepstakes for prizes, such as the book series, "His Dark Materials" by Philip Pullman. Pullman described one of the books, which The "Golden Compass" film is based on, "We're used to the Kingdom of Heaven; but you can tell from the general thrust of the book that I'm of the devil's party."

One teacher did research and concluded "I found a website where the author had all of his favorite quotes ... and there were some very disturbing quotes on there. I can't remember any of them word for word, but it was very anti-God -- anti-American, too. It was just very sad what I read on there; it really concerned me."

Cross on Chaplain Uniform Deemed Unconstitutional

Within the Spokane, Washington Police Department is a program called the Chaplain Volunteer Program. It's purpose is to help police officers and families after critical incidents occur. The chaplain uniform included the police emblem over a golden cross. Ray Ideaus, an atheist pastor (now there's an oxymoron), filed a federal lawsuit against the chaplains, arguing it is unconstitutional for chaplains to wear a religious emblem. Under pressure of this lawsuit, the city has agreed to, not only remove the patch, but to also allow non-religious people to become chaplains. The head of the chaplain board called this an attack on Christianity.

U.S. Supreme Court lets "Offensive" Bible Decision Stand

The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear the Harris County, Texas case over a 50 year-old display of the Bible in the county court lobby. Kay Staley took the county to court over the display, claiming the Bible was "offensive." At the time of her claim, the display was stored in a closet while the lobby was going through some renovations, so her complaint was over an "offensive" Bible that was visible to no one. Three years ago, U.S. District Judge Sim Lake rules that the display was an endorsement of religion, the display needed to be removed and the county needed to reimburse Staley's legal costs, in excess of $40,000. The county is now investigating alternate locations for the display.

Canadian Christian Ready for Jail for Stance on Homosexuality

Ron Gray, head of The Christian Heritage Party of Canada, is under investigation by the Canadian Human Rights Commission (CHRC). Charges were filed by militant homosexual activist Rob Wells. Gray referred to aspects of the homosexual movement as attempting to "normalize sexual perversion" in schools "to recruit our children into their debauched lifestyle" and other comments about the homosexual movement destroying family morals.

The CHRC will need to determine if the gay lifestyle (such as men have sex in the feces of other anonymous men and the frequency of gay pedophiles) are normal, healthy lifestyles.

"I really think this is a crucial case because if an agency of the government, which the CHRC is, can tell a political party what it may and may not include in its political statements we have gone way down the road to totalitarianism," Gray said.

Calling the School Dance "Christmas Dance" too Religious for Some Pennsylvania Students

The student sophomore class officers and Principal's Cabinet of Conemaugh Township, Pennsylvania, recommended to the school board that they vote on renaming the "Christmas Dance" to the "Winter Formal." Some students would not be attending because the word "Christmas" has religious implications.

At the board meeting, Susan Saylor-Stahl, school board President, reminded everyone that Christmas is a recognized secular government holiday. Board member Patricia Lucas-Bailey added, "I respect everybody’s religion — I really do. But it’s an extracurricular activity."

A Rose is still a Rose, but a Christmas Tree may Violate the Constitution in Wisconsin

It will take a Wisconsin state Assembly committee to decide if a Christmas tree should be referred to as such. Rep. Marlin Schneider, D-Wisconsin Rapids, is sponsoring a bill to restore the rightful name of "Christmas Tree." Michael Schoenfield, Schneider's legislative aide, puts it this way, "A rose is a rose is a rose. Whatever you call it, it is going to be a Christmas tree, so call it what it is."

With all the consideration over "Christmas" being offensive to some, perhaps there will consideration over the offensiveness of all the Anti-Christmas attacks.

Which On-Line Retailers Discriminate Against Christmas?

Focus on the Family conducted their annual assessment of the top 50 major retailers' web sites, assessing any discrimination against "Christmas." The results were significant. 40 percent of major retails have completed expunged references to "Christmas" from the Christmas season and, instead, use generic nondescript euphemisms, such as "holiday season." And over 50 percent of major retailers display a mere "token" reference to Christmas, if any. Focus has also identified those retailers considered to be "repeat offenders" year after year.

Santa Claus Declared an Unconstitutional Establishment of Religion in Tehama County, California

Officials for Tehama County informed all government employees not to display any images of Santa Claus or anything Christmas out of fear of violating the Constitution. The term "Christmas Tree" was also banned - decorated trees must be called "holiday trees." Most residents considered the policy change political correctness run amok. The policy was started by Christine Applegate, Social Services Director, and was replicated throughout the county departments.

Redding.com, publisher of a regional newspaper, conducted an online poll, asking the questions "Do you think Tehama County was justified in asking people not to display Santa and other religious items?" 88 percent voted "no" and 3 percent had no opinion.

Fortunately no county employees have been seen visiting the Santa Claus House of Worship.

The Backlash of "Jesus" Prayer in Osceola County, Florida

Paul Owen, commissioner of Osceola County, Florida, begins each public meeting with a prayer. Being a Christian, he always evokes the name "Jesus." This exercise of his liberties is bringing about much criticism. The Americans United for Separation have ordered him to stop. 7-year-old Caden Stufflebeam of Missoula, Montana, collects rocks. "I just walk around and find them - some by my grandma's apartment, some up by Libby Creek. Once I collected so many rocks, my bag started to break so we had to hurry home." But Caden doen't collect them for his own interest. He sells them on the sidewalk, like a lemonaide stand, to make money to feed the needy. According to Caden, "I think God has a purpose for me to sell rocks. Then I can buy more bags for the hungry." Did you celebrate National Bible Week?

National Bible Week, which is celebrated every year, during the Thanksgiving week, since 1941, is designated to raise interest in the importance of reading the Bible. According to Steve Johnson of the International Bible Society, "It's trying to help people understand that daily engagement with the Word of God is absolutely critical to their spiritual formation. If we can accomplish that goal, I think we would see dramatic transformation in our country."

Anti-Defamation League Recommends
- Banish Christmas from Public Schools

The Anti-Defamation League have posted guidelines to public schools, called "December's Dilemma," which, in effect, would banish all mentioning of Christmas. According to the Catholic League, the policy "has reduced Christmas to a pagan 'winter solstice' ritual in our public schools." Since the elimination of Christmas has no legal standing, the Catholic League has rewritten these policies to exercise our religious liberties. The policy corrections are called the "December Celebration."

Hollywood Preparing More Jesus Blasphemy

Hollywood is scheduled to begin filming another blasphemous depiction of Jesus. This time, they are putting to film the undocumented life of Jesus between the ages of 13 and 30. "The Aqaurian Gospel" is the story of a "New Age" Jesus, travelling through India, Tibet, Persia, Greece and Egypt, learning Hinduism and Buddhism. The film will be based on the book "Aquarian Age Gospel of Jesus, the Christ of the Piscean Age," which was channeled by Levi H. Dowling from the dreams and visions he received throughout his young adult life. This fictional book puts New Age beliefs into the mouth of Jesus, such as him teaching "What I can do all men can do. Go preach the gospel of the omnipotence of Man."

"The Aqaurian Gospel" will be a perfect movie for people who choose not to read the Bible (authored by those who personally knew Jesus), but instead choose stories of Jesus originating from the New Age occult.

NY DoE Excludes Christianity by Declaring Judaism/Islam "Secular"

The New York Department of Education has singled-out Christianity to be excluded from displays and communications. According to John DeMicoli of the Department of Education, the policy "permits the display of holiday secular decorations with secular dimensions." The way the Department excluded Christianity is by declaring Judaism, Islam and their symbols as "secular." Perhaps the New York Department of Education is declaring that Christianity is the one true religion. Still, Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League, has filed a complaint with the board over their discriminatory religious holiday policy.

Philadelphia
- Pro-Homosexual and Anti-Boy Scouts

The Philadelphia area Boy Scout council, known as the Cradle of Liberty Council, have been meeting in the same building on Logan Square since 1928, supporting up to 64,000 scouts. The city has supported the scouts by renting the building to the council for $1 a year. The city of Philadelphia, which hosts an annual Gay Pride festival, began to enforce it's sexual-orientation "anti-discrimination" laws by giving the Boy Scouts an ultimatum - include homosexuals in the group or have the rent raise by $199,999.

The Boy Scout Oath is "I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law." In honor of this oath to God, the scouts have refused to allow homosexuals. The city of Philadelphia would have the scouts renounce their loyalty to God to follow the city's acceptance of sexual-orientation.

Liberty Counsel, a non-profit legal institution dedicated to protecting religious liberties, has published their annual "Friend or Foe" list. This list identifies those businesses which are friendly to Christmas and those companies which are hostile. This would include companies which refuse to decorate with Christmas decorations or have replaced "Christmas" with words such an "Winter" or "Seasonal." Jesus is "Offensive" in Indiana

When Senator Dennis Kruse (R-Auburn) ended a session in the House with a prayer, all was constitutionally protected. Once he included the name "Jesus," the American Civil Liberties Association of Indiana declared the prayer "offensive" and would be addressed by an ongoing prayer lawsuit. David Long (R-Fort Wayne), Senate President, indicated the use of Christ in a prayer has been deemed acceptable by the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Colorado City Bans Red and Green (Christmas) Lights - May Cause a Dangerous Religious Experience

In an effort to implement an ethnic-cleansing approach to the secularization of "Christmas", the Colorado city of Fort Collins has gone to the extreme of establishing holiday decorating regulation to expunge anything and everything remotely associated with "Christmas". These regulations have gone to the extreme of banning red and green lights because they may cause "Christmas" to enter into people's minds.

Seth Anthony, spokesman for task force responsible for the secularization of "Christmas," explained that, in order to avoid any message of exclusion to those not of the Christian faith, the town has chosen to exclude anything and everything Christian. Christmas and Christians are banned.

In Spirit of "Tolerance," Lesbians Will Not Tolerate Ocean Grove Christian Morals

The New Jersey beach area of Ocean Grove has been owned and operated by The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA) since 1869. OGCMA mission is to provide opportunities for spiritual birth, growth, and renewal in a Christian seaside setting. Among the many facilities in the shore town is a beach pavilion, which is the center of a state lawsuit.

Reverend Scott Hoffman of the association believes "absolutely that the state doesn't have the right to dictate to a religious organization to do something that's in opposition to our religious beliefs." This belief is being put to the test by two lesbians who have filed a federal non-discrimination complaint against the association for not renting the pavilion for their civil-union ceremonies. The federal court dismissed the case on the grounds that the case should be under state jurisdiction. The association filed a case against the state Division on Civil Rights, protected their religious rights.

Freedom From Religion Foundation Attacks the Michigan Baby Jesus

The Freedom From Religion Foundation is fighting to take away the freedom to recognize the "Christ" in the Christmas season. The Menominee Michigan parks and recreation committee will be displaying a nativity with the baby Jesus and is inviting residents to include displays of their own belief systems. Annie Laurie Gaylor of Freedom From Religion wrote a letter to the city mayor indicating it is unlawful for the town to acknowledge that Christmas has any association with the birth of the "Christ." President George Washington - Thanksgiving Proclamation

Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor; and whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me "to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.

Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th day of November next to be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be—That we may then all unite in rendering unto him our sincere and humble thanks—for his kind care and protection of the People of this Country...for the signal and manifold mercies, and the favorable interpositions of his Providence which we experienced in the tranquility, union, and plenty, which we have since enjoyed...and also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech him to pardon our national and other transgressions—to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually...To promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us—and generally to grant unto all Mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as he alone knows to be best."

LA Times Teaches Theology to Pope Benedict XVI

The November 14th Los Angeles Times published an editorial which instructed Pope Benedict XVI in how he should live out his faith while visiting the United States. The editorial puts words in the mouths of American Catholics with statements such as "many American Catholics hope that the papal visit will double as what politicians in this country call a 'listening tour,'" which, in essence, is telling the Pope to shut his mouth. The LA Times instructs the Pope that Catholic politicians should not have to compromise "responsibility to their constituents or the Constitution." This is the LA Times definition of "separation of church and state" - the church should keep their opinion out of public life.

Democratic Catholics Don't Walk-the-Walk When Serving Their Constituents

Cardinal Sean O’Malley spoke at a meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops in Baltimore, indicating that Catholics supporting policy makers who support abortion "borders on scandal." Democratic lawmakers are responding with explanation as to how they can be obedient to God in their personal lives but not in their government positions. A former Democrat, Helen Cross, expressed her view on these Democrats, "To say I’m a Catholic and I also support abortion is like saying I’m a meat-eating vegetarian."

When Jesus was asked the question, "which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
he replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." Matthew 22:36-40 (NIV)

Massachusetts House Speaker Sal DiMasi explained his approach to Jesus' teaching. He needs to divide his allegience to what's "best for the commonwealth and my citizens and the issue as a whole, as opposed to what my religious beliefs are and just following what my religious leader tells (Jesus) me to do."

It appears that DiMasa and other Catholic Democrats love the Lord with half their heart, half their soul and half of their mind and commit the other halves to the culture and state.

Colorado Official Fearful that a Christmas Tree is Illegal

The Larimer, Colorado Sheriff, Jim Alderden, does not want to fold to the anti-Christmas forces that are trying to shut-down public recognition of the holiday. So, he's planning on setting up a Christmas tree that the community can decorate. It will have the traditional lights, stars and an angel on top. This move has Frank Lancaster, the County Manager, fearful that displaying a Christmas tree could be considered illegal. Lancaster needs to check with the attorneys to determine if a Christmas tree violates the law.

The assault on Christmas is causing communities around the country to slip into a paranoia over possible litigation over the recognition of Christmas. Sheriff Alderden calls this assault the ACLU Jihad Against Christmas and wants to show, "that there are people with some common sense in our community, and that we do celebrate our heritage."

The Governor of Georgia, Sonny Perdue, has already declared a state of emergency. He has also schedule a special prayer service to pray for this severe regional drought. Purdue sent invitations to leaders of different faiths for this prayer event.

American Atheists take Highway Crosses to Court

The Utah Highway Patrol have been putting crosses on a patch of land along the highway, to memorialize each fallen trooper. The cross was challenged in court by the American Atheists Inc. The assistant to the Utah attorney general, Thomas Roberts, argued they were secular symbols for the sacrifice of the deceased troopers. Brian Barnard, for the American Atheists Inc, argued they were an unconstitutional establishment of a religion (although there were no reports of worship along the highway).

Roberts argued that any object, such a a telephone pole or the letter "t" could be misconstrued to be an establishment of a religion.

Indianapolis Using Zoning Codes to Ban Church From Building Usage

Pastor Toby Digrugilliers experienced regular attendance at the the Baptist Church of the West Side of Indianapolis Indiana, which they conducted in a leased building. The city decided that the zoning did not apply to "religious use" and that a "special" permit was required. A letter was sent to the church, explaining the requirement for "special" permission for "religious use," along with the fines in excess of $2,500 for each violation. The zoning allows for "auditoriums, assembly halls, community centers, certain health services, membership organizations or clubs, mortuaries, any type of office use, radio and television studios, museums, and certain types of specialized schools." Digrugilliers believed that the city was singling out the church, providing unequal access to the religious organization.

In June 2006 pastor Digrugilliers pursued the legal recourse necessary to regain access to his church facility. A district court denied his appeal. After a year of defending his church, the U.S. Court of Appeals reversed the lower courts decision, providing the Baptist Church of the West Side with equal access to facilities. David Langdon, from the Alliance Defense Fund and the attorney for the church, summarized the decision, "Pastor Digrugilliers and his congregation have the same right to lease a building in Indianapolis as nonreligious groups."

Judge Ends ACLU Oppression, Intimidation, Harassment Over Mt. Soledad Cross

Federal District Judge Larry Alan Burns had to blocked the ACLU from issuing a subpoena to the defending legal representation over the case of the California Mt. Soledad Cross, a legal case extending over 13 years. In his ruling, judge Alan wrote, "In this type of situation, the Court must be particularly vigilant to accord non-party activists and political opponents such as LiMandri the broad protection."

The subpoena was against the West Coast Regional Director of the Thomas More Law Center, Charles LiMandri, defendent of the Cross. Richard Thompson, President of the Thomas More Law Center, commented, "The ACLU’s repeated attempts to take Mr. LiMandri’s deposition was nothing more than an attempt to intimidate and harass him. It was meant as a warning to all citizens that those who oppose the ACLU’s agenda could be hauled in and subjected to interrogation under oath. The ACLU’s actions in this case should be considered a threat to the liberty of every American."

Gideon Bibles OUT, Sex Kits IN
at Many Hotels

Gideons International began placing Bibles in hotels in 1908. The presence of the Gideon Bible became part of the experience of any hotel stay. Many individuals have been comforted throughout the decades because of the Gideon Bibles.

Today, Gideon International and their Bibles are under attack. ALong with legal actions against Gideons, hotels are removing the Bibles and replacing them with sex "intimacy kits." Items found in the kit may include condoms, spermicide, lubrication aids, massage oils and sexual performance items, such as Horny Goat Weed. Some hotels have gone so far as to include sexual accessories in their room service menus.

So Long, Gideons

While hotels replace the Gideon Bible with sexual apparatus, an organization called The Abimelechs states they - are an association of Atheist commercial, business, and professional men and women who have as one of their objects: The removal from circulation of the so-called Word of God or Holy Bible, from hotels, motels, hospitals, school classrooms, university dormitories, penal institutions, and many other places, and by the confiscation of New Testaments from school children, service personnel, and nurses.

"Christmas" is Declared Unconstitutional in Lake Placid, New York

The New York Lake Placid Central School District held their regular Tuesday night board meeting, when Jordanna Mallach brought-up the issue of holiday decorations. Last year there was an issue with a sign that had the word "Christmas." Mallach repeatedly stressed her belief that the U.S. Supreme Court has banned the display of anything "Christmas" from public school. In the end, the Superintendent of schools, Ernie Stretton declared "The sign will not be up."

Church versus state; ‘Merry Christmas’ sign topic at school board meeting

The Catholic League has published The December Celebration, a program to bring clarity to the confusion over the celebration of Christmas in public schools.

Contrary to certain assumptions, the Supreme Court has never banned the acknowledgment of religious holidays in public schools, including Christmas. The Supreme Court has said that religion can be presented objectively as part of a secular program of education. That cannot be interpreted to mean that the Bible passages cannot be read in public schools in a secular context of study, or that explanations of the religious meaning of Christmas, or the right to display religious symbols of Christmas with other religious or secular symbols of the season can be banned. It is important to remember that, in any context, the public schools must not coerce students away from their religious beliefs, denigrate religion nor be hostile to religion.

House Passes Non-Discrimination Bill Designed to Discriminate Against Religious Organizations

The House voted 235-184 to pass ENDA, but the vote is expected to be much closer in the Senate, and President Bush has said he will veto the bill if it does reach his desk.

The Employment Non-discrimination Act (ENDA) adds “sexual orientation” to a list of federally protected classes under a 1964 act that prohibits job discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin.

House Republican leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) observed that ENDA would "restrict religious freedom and open the door to excessive litigation."

The Bill will next go before the Senate.

In Case You Didn't Know,
Our National Motto is "In God We Trust"

In 1956 the United Stated Congress adopted the national motto "In God We Trust."

Schools, such as the California Bakersfield school district, are recognizing that this motto is part of the heritage and history of this country.

Of course the spokesman for Americans United for Separation, Rob Boston, has to make statements against the United States Motto. He throw in paganism, reversed communism and other such comments, regardless of the historical nature of this motto.

Even Chuck Cournyea, a minister at a Unity Church of Bakerfield (for those free thinking individuals who were looking for a church home that honored the diversity of humankind), resents displaying the nations historical reference to God.

Anti-Christmas Oppression Reminds 85-Year-Old Grandmother of Nazi Germany

According to the Plant City, Florida Chamber of Commerce, A community as blessed as Plant City is sure to honor the grace with which it is bestowed. It Took an NYC Church 10 Years To Reserve a Room

It took the Bronx Household of Faith over 10 years to get there reservation fulfilled with the The New York City Department of Education, to rent the facilities for their Sunday worship service.

The Alliance Defense Fund has been fighting the NYC DoE all this time, "The New York school system has shown a ... dogged determination to keep churches off their premises. And yes, they try to justify it with this so-called separation of church and state, a phrase that we always hasten to add is not even found in the Constitution. [But] the Supreme Court [in its 2001 ruling] rightly saw through these efforts and saw it to be what it really is, which is antagonism or hostility toward religious speakers or religious speech."

Maryland School Bans the Word "Christmas" From Posters

The Maryland Glenelg High School chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) hung posters for their Operation Christmas Child collection, a program that gathers donated gifts and gives them to needy children in different parts of the world. Little did they know that the school's principal, Karl Schindler, would order them to have the word "Christmas" remove from the poster and replace it with "Holiday." The American Family Association is pursuing this case.

Stafford Teen Goes To Court, Instead of the Principal, in Order to start a High School Pro-Life Club

16-year old Stephanie Hoffmeier had to take her Stafford Virginia Colonial Forge High School to court to get the school administration to recognize her constitutionally protected right to start The Pro-Life Club and be recognized like any other school club. According to Stephanie, the purpose of the club is "To educate people about the biggest holocaust that is going on right here in the United States. To come together and pray to end abortion. To be a voice for my generation and a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves."

When asked why she started the club, Stephanie answered "I feel God has put it on my heart for a pretty long time."

Unfortunately, some media outlets chose to label her club "anti-abortion" instead of recognize it is pro-life.

ACLU and Homosexual Groups Stage Assault and Battery Charges Against Catholic

On December 16, 2006, a pro-traditional marriage rally was being held on the steps of the Massachusetts Worcester City Hall. Larry Cirignano was participating in the peaceful rally. Homosexual groups and the ACLU came to disrupt it.

It's at this point that reports diverge from the truth. According to the groups disrupting the event, Cirignano grabbed Sarah Loy (ACLU board member and "gay marriage" activist) by the shoulders and shoved her to the ground where her head slammed into the concrete sidewalk. This was all reported by Richard Nangle in the December 17, 2006 Telegram & Gazette, Worcester rally takes ugly turn - Gay marriage backer pushed

The Director of the Worcester County Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts, Ronal C. Madnick, reported in the paper, "It was definitely assault and battery,"

Coming back to the truth, civil rights charges were filed against Cirignano. He was acquitted by a jury of three men and three women of all charge. The trial revealed that

  • Loy was asked repeatedly to leave. Instead she took over the poduim

  • Cirignano escorted her off of the podium

  • Loy returned to the crowd, threw herself to the ground and began yelling at Cirignano, "That's what hate does!"

  • The police only interviewed the homosexual activists

The Homosexual movement are promoters of tolerance, elimination of hate-speech and anti-bullying. The ACLU stand for equal protection under the law regardless of religion.

Church Denied Tax Exempt Status for Pastors House

The Faith Christian Church of Bay County, Florida, understood that it was within the law for them to own a church parsonage, which is protected by tax-exemption laws. The parsonage is used as a church office, pastoral counseling office, meeting rooms for church staff and board members, prayer groups, housing church vehicles, accommodating visiting ministers and speakers and storage of church records. Property Appraiser Rick Barnett thought otherwise and has made efforts to collect $165,000 in property taxes.

The parsonage is protected by Florida's Religious Freedom Restoration Act and the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA).

Eric Stanley of Liberty Counsel is representing the church in filing a complaint against the property appraiser’s office attempt to collection on tax-exempt money. Stanley's observation is that "This is the only parsonage that he has denied tax exemption for in Bay County."

For New Jersey Pharmacists, The State Rules Your Conscience, Not God

New Jersey became the 12th state in the nation to declare that the State overrides individual religious convictions when it comes to Pharmacists' dispensing questionable medications. On Friday, November 2nd, 2007, Governor Jon Corzine signed into law a bill which requires that all Pharmacists in the state dispense medications without the option of conscientious objection. The decision comes just days after Pope Benedict XVI delivered message to pharmacists to reject the world's culture of death.

Pope Benedict XVI Says to Pharmacists, Let God Rule Your Conscience - State Says, We Will Rule Your Conscience

According to state Senator Joseph Vitale, D-Middlesex, "Discussions of morals and matters of conscience are admirable, but should not come into play when subjective beliefs conflict with objective medical decisions." It seems that Vitale has objective knowledge of origin of the soul and God's relationship to the new soul in the womb.

"This bill sends a chilling message to individuals with religious or philosophical beliefs, that if they are pharmacists they need not apply in the state of New Jersey," - Marie Tasy, New Jersey Right to Life

Federal Permit Required To Be A Christian At Mount Rushmore

If you want to have a conversation about your Christian faith at the front entrance to Mount Rushmore, you first need to get a federal permit. This was the explanation given to Michael Boardley when he was stopped by a park ranger. You need a Speech Permit if you want to open your mouth to say that you are a Christian. But don't try calling the special phone number for Speech Permits - no one answers.

Godfather of Atheism Declares "There Is A God"

Professor Antony Flew, a British philosopher and a prominent atheist, has published his latest work There Is a God: How the World's Most Notorious Atheist Changed His Mind.

"This is fascinating and very readable account of how a distinguished philosopher who was a militant atheist for most of his working life came to believe in the intelligent design of the universe, and hence deism. This book will provoke as much debate as his previous atheist writings." - Professor John Hick, University of Birmingham

"Antony Flew's book will incense atheists who suppose (erroneously) that science proves there is no God. Flew is a distinguished philosopher whose position has been changed by force of argument about the significance of scientific discoveries." - Ian H. Atheist Michael Newdow, Once Again, Attacking "Under God"

After losing his lawsuit in an 8-0 ruling with the U.S. Supreme Court, claiming that "Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance in unconstitutional, Michael Newdow is at it again. This time, he's found an anonymous atheist couple in New Hampshire Massachusetts, "Jan and Pat Doe,", and is defending their claim that the phrase "Under God" is unconstitutional.

In his rationalization for eliminating religious references from public life, Newdow commented "There are numerous instances where kids are traumatized for life, as a result of being ostracized for their religious beliefs." His counsel recommends that we protect our children from Michael Newdow.

The Pledge of Allegiance has changed several times since it was originally penned by Baptist minister Francis Bellamy in 1892. The original pledge read "I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." "Under God" was added in 1954.

Fear of Ten Commandments Litigation Squashes Eagle-Scout Courthouse Project

Ian Gerard, an Eagle Scout in the making, selected a project to assemble a display of historical documents in the Henderson Kentucky County Fiscal courthouse. The display was to include U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence and the Ten Commandments. Unfortunately, when the fiscal court saw the inclusion of the Ten Commandments, Judge-executive Sandy Watkin rejected the scouts proposal out of fear of any potential litigation from those who oppose references to the Christian roots of the legal system.

Governor Ernie Fletcher telephoned Ian, inviting him and his family to meet the Governor and to commend Ian on his proposal. Ian's mom commented "It was really nice for Ian to have the highest official in the state recognize him and tell him he was doing a good job."

Pope Benedict XVI Says to Pharmacists, Let God Rule Your Conscience - State Says, We Will Rule Your Conscience

At the International Congress of Catholic Pharmacists,Pope Benedict XVI reminded the pharmacists that they must follow God's moral standards on issues in their profession. The Pope emphasized further that, not only should pharmicists obey their conscience, but must also educate other. A pharmacist cannot "anesthetize consciences," the pope said. This runs counter to the secular culture, which would have all Christians remove their Godly moral obligations at home.

UK Thinktank -
Multiculturalism = Elimination of Christianity from Culture

A report by the Institute for Public Policy Research makes proposals on how to urgently "expunge" Christianity from the UK culture as an integral part of the plan to propagate multiculturalism. The proposals make it clear that Christianity is not considered part of the culture and, therefore, must be removed.

One Conservative spokesman, Sayeeda Warsi, noted "Their comments betray a breathtaking misunderstanding of what it is to be British. These proposals could actually damage cohesion."

Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Attempts To Stick Their Noses Into the running of Seminaries - And Gets them Chopped Off

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board made the decision that the board was best qualified to define the criteria for theological degrees, credentials for the professors and the school board. For those institutions that would not comply, the board was ready to punish those institutions with heavy fines. The case was brought before the Texas Supreme Court. After the decision, which favored the seminaries, Justice Hecht commented that the position taken by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board "impermissibly intrudes upon religious freedom protected by the United States and Texas Constitutions."
